To unsubscribe, send the following message to [email protected]:

If you notice you're not getting mail for a long time, you might have
been deleted or postponed by the listprocessor. Send the following message

subscribe brin-l <firstname> <lastname> If you get back a message saying you're already subscribed, try 2 or
3, according to your preference.

Please do not quote large blocks of text, quote only relevant portions.

Letters to Dr. Brin or Dr. Benford should be prefixed by +++ in the
header of the mail. Anything you want to be brought to the attention of
Trevor Sands should have !!! or *** in the header of the message.

Please don't post huge files to the list. If you want to post a data
file of interest to everyone, put it on a web page and post the URL. Files
over 10K are "huge". Also, anything other than plain text will come through
as garbage in the digest, so don't post ANYTHING that isn't plain text.
If you don't have a webpage, an announcement that you have a file of interest
and will mail privately to interested parties should work as an alternative.

If you are posting a LONG message and would like to courteously warn
the rest of us that it is LONG, please include L3 or ELL in the subject
